Community across elite, academy and students
FCM Huset and Guldminen in Ikast are intended as a ‘mini stadium’ consisting of a football pitch in the center and surrounding facilities for FCM’s Superliga players and academy as well as the private school Guldminen.
The community across the elite, academy and students is in focus and is reflected in the building’s layout and design with great transparency across areas and floors as well as good visibility and relations with the surrounding training areas.

Project proposal qualified by representatives from FC Midtjylland
The building will be constructed in the Ikast Sports Campus between the players’ training fields and the future training facility “Ikast Complete”. The building is integrated into the surroundings in the form of slopes that draw the “green” up to the first floor level, large stairs and stands that function both as training elements and as spectator areas, as well as roof terraces all around so that transition between the building’s rooms and the training facility is eliminated.
In the sketching process, a project group consisting of representatives from FCM and Guldminen qualified the creation of the project proposal and prepared the building’s room program.
The project group has defined the construction’s success criteria which must be ensured in the execution of the completed construction.
The building has 4 floors and is expected to be ready for the first pupils after the summer holidays 2023.
