Become an intern at Sweco Architects
As an intern at Sweco Architects, you will be part of everyday life at one of Denmark’s largest architectural companies with more than 280 employees across offices nationwide. Our architects and design engineers are specialists in residential housing, offices and business premises, schools and institutions, transformation, urban planning, landscape architecture and commercial buildings. Together with our other colleagues at Sweco, we design and plan the cities and communities of the future.
Requirements: You are in the final stages of your bachelor’s or master’s degree and have practical knowledge of CAD and 3D modeling software, as well as Adobe Suite. The internship will last for a minimum of five months, starting in February and August, respectively. The application process will take place between October-December and April-July. Please note that we only accept applicants from EU/EEA countries who have not yet graduated with a relevant master’s degree.
As an architectural intern, you will be a key part of our team, learning from our experienced architects and assisting in the design and development of our projects. You will have the opportunity to challenge and develop your professional skills within our specialised areas – including residential and educational architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, user involvement and sustainability.
As a constructing engineer intern, you will design exciting and diverse projects in close collaboration with architects and engineers. Here, you will be part of a project team. In addition, you will be assigned your own work tasks. You will have a say in how your internship is structured, according to your preferences.
Everyday life at our studios
We have a very social work environment, and our architectural ambitions are high. We expect you to be eager to learn and take advantage of the opportunity to work on independent and challenging tasks. At Sweco Architects, interns tend to stay on. Several of our market managers and creative directors started as interns with us.
