Are you involved in a construction project and wish to reduce your project’s carbon footprint and promote sustainability? Task 5.1 in the Nordic harmonization project of life cycle assessment offers a unique opportunity to receive expert support and guidance to achieve just that.
What is Task 5.1?
Task 5.1 is part of a larger initiative under the Nordic Council of Ministers, aimed at accelerating the decarbonization of the construction and civil engineering sector in the Nordic countries and Estonia. The project offers a Low carbon clinic, where selected new construction projects gain access to external sustainability resources to improve environmental sustainability.

Participants will receive tailored feedback and strategic planning through workshops and follow-up meetings, designed to promote low carbon goals. Additionally, the projects will be analyzed to find ways to increase environmental sustainability, including climate impacts and circularity.
What is the outcome?
After participating in the clinics, a report will be prepared providing an overview of the projects, key findings, and recommendations to overcome challenges in reducing the carbon footprint.
