    We are in the midst of a biodiversity crisis where demands and expectations to protect biodiversity are creating new conditions for our urban development, construction and land management, as well as for companies to report transition plans and objectives for biodiversity protection in their strategy and business model.<\/p>\n

    One of the ESRS standards, ESRS E4, directly addresses biodiversity and ecosystems.     What is CSRD?\u00a0<\/strong>CSRD is the abbreviation of the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, a new European legislation requiring companies to report on their sustainability performance.     What is ESRS?\u00a0<\/strong>ESRS is the abbreviation of European Sustainability Reporting Standards, and refers to the mandatory European standards for sustainability reporting, developed in accordance with the CSRD. ESRS provides a common framework and guidelines for companies to report on their sustainability performance.<\/p>\n

    To whom does CSRD apply?<\/strong>\u00a0From January 2024, all large companies and all listed companies with more than 500 employees must start reporting in accordance with CSRD and ESRS. This includes companies in all sectors, including industry, finance, retail, and services.<\/p>\n
