We always honour existing qualities and aim to preserve them in our renovation and transformation projects. The most sustainable building is the one that is preserved. Beautiful buildings are preserved. When we build new buildings, we do not compromise on aesthetics, but develop them in synergy with functionality and climate considerations in material selection and design. We design with reuse and transformation in mind \u2013 even for the next hundred years.<\/p>\n

Our architecture improves people\u2019s well-being and health<\/h5>\n

Architecture is crucial for people’s well-being and health. At Sweco Architects, we are rooted in the Scandinavian architectural tradition and work with light, materials, context, functionality, technology and aesthetics to translate people’s needs and dreams into a framework for diversity, life and communities. As an integrated architectural and engineering consultancy, we look at the interrelation between aesthetics and technology to ensure an excellent indoor climate and a healthy environment. Our timely involvement of many specialists provides a holistic approach to project development and consulting. Together, we transform our public institutions and housing and adapt them to our constantly changing family patterns, lifestyles, urban life, and transport modes.<\/p>\n

We design feasible projects<\/h5>\n

Through our multidisciplinary screening, we utilize knowledge from many specialists early on in projects to get the full potential out of our experts. We make calculations during the design process to ensure that projects are quickly feasible, buildable and match the client’s purpose and budget, considering both construction and operational costs as well as lifetime expenses. Sweco Architects builds on the strong foundation of the two architectural companies, \u00c5rstiderne Arkitekter (1985) and KANT arkitekter (1977). \u00c5rstiderne Arkitekter and KANT arkitekter became part of Sweco in 2018 and 2020, respectively. The change of our name in 2021 completes the integration into Sweco, manifesting the approach of integrated consulting as an architectural and engineering consultancy.<\/p>\n

Internationally, Sweco Architects operates in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, Belgium, and Poland, and with more than 1,500 architects, Sweco Architects is the largest architectural company in Europe and the fourth largest architectural company in the world.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n \t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

We strive to create productive and trusting collaborations within the construction industry. We pursue this goal as co-creator of and partaker in three strategic partnerships: TRUST in collaboration with the City of Copenhagen, Byggepartnerskabet &os in collaboration with KAB and Byggepartnerskabet LIVA in collaboration with CIVICA. These partnerships that aim to challenge the usual structures within the construction industry and create trusting collaborations between all parties.<\/p>\n

Here, architects, engineers, landscape architects, constructing engineers, experts, and contractors work side by side. This ensures a holistic, efficient and constructive approach to projects with one common goal and shared values.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n \t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n
