The UN\u2019s 17 Global Goals are all about making the world a better place. A more sustainable place, and a more prosperous and more peaceful place. In Denmark, Sweco has committed to achieving these goals. Not with empty talk, but with concrete action.<\/p>\n

A collaboration between Statistics Denmark and The 2030-Panel comprising Sweco, Deloitte, Geelmuyden Kiese, Danish Energy Management (DEM), Kraka, Roskilde University (RUC) and Aalborg University (AAR) has developed a starting point \u2013 a baseline \u2013 for the Global Goals in Denmark.<\/p>\n

The report \u2018Make Global Goals Our Goals \u2013 197 Danish indicators for a more sustainable world\u2019 aims to set the direction for Denmark\u2019s continued work with the Global Goals, while at the same time raising awareness of the Global Goals and involving all interested parties.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n \t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

\u201dWe are incredibly proud to have contributed to this report, which was launched by Statistics Denmark and The 2030-Panel. This is an important piece of work that makes Denmark\u2019s path towards a more sustainable society concrete and measurable. When looking at the indicators, it is clear that Denmark is making good progress according to several parameters. But there are also many areas where we have a long way to go.<\/p>\n

With the indicators, we now have a common frame of reference for where and how to take action. I\u2019m looking forward to seeing how the Danish government and the political parties will use the national indicators in future\u201d – Dariush Rezai, CEO i Sweco<\/p>\n

The 197 Danish indicators were presented to the Danish Minister of Finance, Nicolai Wammen, at Christiansborg on 9 September 2020. Developing the indicators was financed by the Danish Industry Foundation, Lundbeckfonden, Nordea-fonden, Realdania and the Spar Nord Foundation.<\/p>\n
