Motorways and roads
\n<\/strong>When we advise on the construction of motorways and bypass roads, we work closely with Sweco\u2019s environment and geoengineering experts. We can therefore also help with related processes for any major road and construction project, such as environmental screenings and analyses, EIA reports and geotechnical drilling.<\/p>\n

Squares and urban spaces
\n<\/strong>When we create or transform squares and urban spaces, we work closely with our architects and engineers to design attractive, functional and safe urban environments for everyone. We advise on the construction of squares and urban spaces with a focus on the users, and we acquire in-depth knowledge of the needs and wishes these need to meet through citizen involvement and urban space analyses.<\/p>\n

Bicycle paths
\n<\/strong>Our traffic planners and engineers have extensive experience in designing and planning bicycle path systems in dense urban areas, while incorporating new standards for smooth flows, road safety and accessibility.<\/p>\n

We help with conceptual development, planning, design engineering and implementation of all types of bicycle projects, particularly focusing on cyclist safety, security and smoothly flowing traffic \u2013 from bicycle superhighways in densely populated urban areas to analyses of routes to and from schools. When we plan new bicycle paths or improve existing conditions, we scrutinise traffic conditions and signalling systems, and incorporate behavioural campaigns to promote cycling.<\/p>\n

Building maturations for public and private sector developers
\n<\/strong>We have extensive experience with building maturation and draw on our many years of working with soil management, earthwork balance and road design for arterial and local roads. On every building maturation project, we strive to minimise resource and time usage, in order to deliver the most cost-effective and sustainable project for the developer.<\/p>\n

Traffic and mobility
\n<\/strong>We help to develop traffic and mobility plans as an administrative basis for prioritising and planning a municipality\u2019s efforts to promote road safety and security. The plans help identify traffic conditions and offer improvement proposals, such as campaigns to influence behaviour, or specific works to increase security and safety and encourage people to choose more sustainable modes of transport.<\/p>\n

When defining each municipality\u2019s road safety success criteria, we also advise on how to incorporate the recommendations of the Danish Road Safety Commission.<\/p>\n

Road safety and accessibility audits and inspections
\n<\/strong>We offer broad advice on road safety and accessibility when designing everything from complex motorway systems to roads and paths in peri-urban and rural areas. We have extensive experience in preparing road safety and accessibility audits for several Danish municipalities.<\/p>\n

We also have experience in developing traffic and accessibility policies, plans and action plans, and performing road safety inspections for existing works.<\/p>\n

Traffic flow
\n<\/strong>We have a strong team of consultants who specialise in traffic management projects with excellent safety and flow, and with experience from some of Denmark\u2019s largest traffic re-routing projects. Our team draws on experience over the last few decades from traffic flow projects related to metro development, major motorway projects and complex projects in densely built-up areas with limited space conditions.<\/p>\n

    Correction of nuisances and increased safety on the stretch<\/h2>\n
