Sweco provided essential services, including GIS mapping for renewable energy capacity and the installation of PtX facilities. A comprehensive stakeholder analysis was conducted across the value chain, encompassing both production and end-users of green fuels, which facilitated effective collaboration. The analysis focused on identifying significant parameters influencing price development, considering recent geopolitical shifts impacting raw material prices. The study also explored the repercussions of heightened demand for components and materials, as well as challenges in the supply chain. Additionally, it extends to considerations such as transport and logistics, cables, grid connection, production capacities, operations, and maintenance (O&amp;M), as well as financing and insurance costs. The study aims to provide a holistic view of the offshore wind industry&#8217;s cost dynamics.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Going forward the analysis will support the political setup in Denmark to better understand and navigate the complex industry of offshore wind. The DD process focussed on technical, environmental, Market and regulatory issues<\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Project focused on technical due diligence of a large biogas company, covering 12 biogas production plants, 12 upgrading biomethane facilities, natural gas grid connections, supply of biogas to bus and truck fleets as well as to ~15 gas tank stations. Additionally, the project included assessing a pipeline of 20+ biogas plants in Denmark, the Netherlands, France, USA and Canada as well as planed liquefaction plants and development with new technologies within biogas utilization, CO2 capture and distribution and Power-to-X.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Biogas is a renewable energy that can replace natural gas. Biogas production is a combined energy production and a waste treatment technology. When manure is used for biogas production, the emission of greenhouse gases from handling and storage of slurry is reduced. A by-product from biogas production is high quality natural fertilizer that can substitute fertilizer produced by fossil fuels like natural gas and oil. A number of technologies can purify the biogas by removing the carbon dioxide and other gases. Removed carbon dioxide can be utilized for industrial purposes and in the Power-to-X processes. The need for charging stations and their required capacity was assessed. Additionally, a technology catalog on shore power is being prepared, categorizing various configurations of shore power systems to meet different needs in the industrial ports.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>By utilizing the Harbor Atlas, the challenges of electrifying infrastructure in Danish commercial ports have been identified and can be addressed.
