At Sweco, we see sustainability as being intrinsic to a building’s quality, and therefore it is a natural part of our consultancy services. With a common vision for the sustainability of a building, we ensure that, irrespective of skills and organisation, measures are planned and executed so that the client/developer can realise his goals.

For both new and existing buildings, we advise on sustainability certifications and sustainability management as well as life cycle analysis (LCA) and life cycle costing (LCC) (or whole-life costing) during the construction or planning process.

We use both Danish and international standards when working with and documenting sustainability, and we have qualified consultants and auditors with extensive experience, especially within DGNB. Similarly, we also have employees who are familiar with BREEAM and LEED certification. To achieve the best possible operation of new buildings, we work with commissioning as a quality assurance process.
