Commissioning promotes sustainable headquarters
Once completed, Danske Bank’s new headquarters in Copenhagen will be able to accommodate 4,000 employees and approx. 1,000 visitors at the same time. Efficient banking requires efficient building systems. Sweco is responsible for the commissioning process to ensure that the building meets the LEED certification requirements.
The commissioning process comprises building automation, ventilation, plumbing, cooling, thermal indoor climate issues, daylighting, acoustics, building envelope design and monitoring-based commissioning. In relation to monitoring-based commissioning,

LEED Enhanced Commissioning
The developer wanted the building to carry LEED certification. Our commissioning process helps to enable LEED Enhanced Commissioning (LEED v4) of the project.
In addition, the process follows the guidelines of the DS 3090:2014 standard ‘The commissioning process for buildings – Installation services in new buildings and major renovations’.
Sweco offers the following services according to DS 3090:
Establishment of a commissioning organisation
Specification of commissioning requirements
In-depth review of the project proposal and main project
User training planning
Impact and supervision of own checks, adjustments and testing
Technical installation tests prior to delivery
Building inspection 10 months after delivery
